Childcare Support for Women Entrepreneurs
Through the Childcare Support Pilot for Women Entrepreneurs project grant funded by the Brookfield Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Ryerson University and the Government of Ontario and Datenight Babysitting, we are providing reliable, flexible and accessible childcare to help entrepreneurial moms grow their businesses over the next 14 months.
To be eligible for this program, you must run a business that is less than 5 years old, have children, have fewer than six people employed by your company, and be located in Ontario.
While we’d love to support all small business endeavours, the parameters of the grant specify that we support moms growing scalable businesses as entrepreneurs. As such, freelance-based businesses – where earnings are directly correlated to hours worked – are not eligible at this time.
Are you interested in participating in the Childcare Support Pilot for Women Entrepreneurs? Awesome! Pre-Register on the Datenight Babysitting Website or download the HELM app for Iphone or Android. Use the code GROWMOMBIZ in the discount section of registration and please check your email as you will be asked to provide the following in order to complete registration:
- Your LinkedIn profile
- Social media business page(s)
- Your company website
- Description of the business activities you would be undertaking during the childcare support hours
We will also ask three business-related questions during the initial application process. Upon acceptance, you will be eligible for 50 hours of childcare support. You can then complete your registration and interview and book a babysitter so that you can grow your business!
If you have any further questions about this grant please email us and we would be happy to answer your questions!
